Album

Emerson, Lake and Palmer in Concert is a live album by Emerson, Lake & Palmer ELP, recorded at 26 August 1977 show at the Olympic Stadium, Montreal, Quebec, Canada which is featured on the album cover. It was released by Atlantic Records in November 1979, following ELP's breakup. It was later re-released and repackaged as Works Live in 1993. Some of the tracks were not from the Montreal concert, but from other concerts the 19771978 Tour, like Peter Gunn and Tiger in a Spotlight. Emerson, lake and palmer - full concert - live in zurich 1970. Emerson, Lake and Palmer in Concert is a live album by Emerson, Lake & Palmer ELP, recorded at 26 August 1977 show at the Olympic Stadium, Montreal, which is featured on the album cover. Similar to most live albums, In Concert showcased fan favourites of previously released material. A half-hearted release, intended to fulfill contracts and not much else. Their third live album, and their least interesting, although it was later expanded and improved in reissue form as Works Live. In Concert is a jazz related rock music live album recording by EMERSON LAKE AND PALMER released in 1979 on CD, LPVinyl andor cassette. Emerson, Lake & Palmer Format: Audio CD. 1979's In Concert was the last of three live albums that progressive rock supergroup Emerson Lake & Palmer released during the 1970s, and represented sort of a bittersweet swan song for the band's classic period. The relative briefness of the resulting live album is perhaps fitting several of the tracks don't feature the orchestra, and those that do suffer from dull, flat mixes. In Concert begins with Introductory Fanfare, hardly a song in its own right it's basically some synth noodling segueing into the band's introduction by the PA announcer. Recorded in Montreal's Olympic Stadium, In Concert was basically a contract-fulfilling album since the band had already broken up prior to this 1979 release. There really isn't anything spectacular about this album and for all intents and purposes, one might just consider it a supplement to the two previous live albums ELP released Pictures at an Exhibition and Welcome Back My Friends.
