Performance and Cocktails is the second studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. It was released by V2 on 8 March 1999. The name 'Performance and Cocktails' comes from lyrics in the album's first song, Roll Up and Shine. The songs were variously recorded at Real World Studios in Bath, Parkgate in Sussex and Rockfield in Monmouth. In December 1998, the Stereophonics released the single The Bartender and the Thief, which became an unexpected explosion on the charts, peaking at number three in the U. In March 1999, the band's sophomore effort, Performance and Cocktails, was released to impressive sales - it was reportedly outselling Blur's 13 when that album was released. Альбом 2010 Песен: 24. Performance And Cocktails CD, Album. Performance & Cocktails was the band's commercial breakthrough, and although sometimes brilliant - 'Just Looking' and 'T-Shirt Suntan' are among the group's classics' - the album feels like a certain element of inspiration has been lost since their debut. Not a bad record, but one that's difficult to fall in love with
