The original lineup of the Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best regularly performed at different clubs in Hamburg, West Germany, during the period from August 1960 to December 1962 a chapter in the group's history which honed their performance skills, widened their reputation, and led to their first recording, which brought them to the attention of Brian Epstein. Offering 28 of those performances, Last Night in Hamburg is a German release from 1999. These performances take listeners back to a time when The Beatles were about to become huge they were still playing small clubs, but it wouldn't be long before the Fab Four started selling out in album The Beatles - Live At The Star-Club In Hamburg, Germany 1962 1977. The Beatles - Red Sails In The Sunset. The Beatles - I Saw Her Standing There. Live at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany 1962 is a double album featuring live performances by The Beatles, recorded in late December 1962 at the Star-Club during their final Hamburg residency. The performances were recorded on a home tape machine using a single microphone, resulting in a low fidelity recording. Ted Kingsize Taylor began to investigate possible marketing of the tapes in 1973. The Beatles - Live in Hamburg, Germany 1962 - Full Album. 17 November 2011 at 08:42Public. I Love The Beatles. The album was issued in the US in June 1977, by Lingasong in association with Atlantic Records. Another CD version by Lingasong in 1996 resulted in another lawsuit, which was won by The Beatles in 1998. George Harrison appeared at Londons High Court in May that year as the groups representative, telling reporters outside: I got the short straw and was the one who had to got to court for Apple. On two, Cry for a shadow and Ain't she sweet, the Beatles performed alone. This article was inspired in part by the Beatles providing a copy of the record that they brought back with them from Germany. This must have been a test pressing, an idea supported by there being only two copies for four Beatles. Judging from the article, the slow intro was present, described as a waltz, and probably was the English language intro since no mention is made of it being in German. They played their first night at the Indra Club on Aug. They had gotten their gig through Allan Williams, who owned the Jacaranda Club in Liverpool and managed a handful of local groups, including the Beatles. He had developed a working relationship with Bruno Koschmider to send his acts to perform residencies at the Indra and the Kaiserkeller, both owned by Koschmider
